Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB) was incorporated in 1991. It is the first airport operating company to be listed in Asia and the sixth in the world. The company manages 39 airports in Malaysia, including the KL International Airport (KLIA). KLIA is the result of a visionary strategy to meet the needs of new large aircraft and the traffic demand of the 21st century.

MAHB’s present corporate structure includes ten operating subsidiaries. The Group has a total staff strength of over 5,000 deployed across 39 offices nationwide.

MAHB also provides airport management services for the Angkor International Airport and Phnom Penh International Airport in Cambodia through a joint-venture arrangement with Aéroports de Paris Management S.A. MAHB is also helping to develop, operate and manage the New Hyderabad International Airport in India as well as managing and operating the Astana International Airport in Kazakhstan.

MAHB has won numerous awards over the years, the latest being awarded The World’s Best Airport in the 15-25 million passengers category (3rd year in a row) and the 2nd Best Airport Asia Pacific and Worldwide 2007 by the Airports Council International Airport Service Quality (ACI-ASQ) Awards.
