Malaysia Airports hands out early bonuses!

Sepang, 30 September 2013 - Bonus came early this year for 21 travelers -- thanks to Malaysia Airports' Indulge Till You Fly (ITUF) Campaign!
The travelers, all of whom participated in Malaysia Airports' Indulge & Win Contest, each won RM10,000 in shopping vouchers! The contest is part of the airport operator's annual ITUF Campaign.
To participate in the Contest, travelers need to spend a minimal of RM250 at any of the international airports in Malaysia and answer a question. At the end of each month, Malaysia Airports will draw seven entries for the monthly indulger prizes of RM10,000 each in shopping vouchers. The 21 travelers were winners for the months of July till September 2013. Amongst the monthly winners are visitors from Germany, China, India and Myanmar.
Monthly indulger prizes are awarded each month from July 2013 till February 2014, the duration of the ITUF Campaign. The 2013/2014 ITUF Campaign carries the theme "Wonderland".
The ITUF Campaign is specially created to reward travelers handsomely for shopping and dining at its five international airports. Held for the fourth year in a row, it is part of Malaysia Airports' drive to raise awareness of the dual roles of its international airports - as transportation hubs and as lifestyle destinations.
Revealed Puan Faizah Khairuddin, Senior General Manager Commercial Services, Malaysia Airports: "Last year the ITUF Campaign garnered a 134 per cent hike in sales. Average spend by travelers also went up by 50%.
"The first three months of our current Campaign we are already seeing a year-on-year increase of 2.5 times in total receipts. Average spend by travelers has also doubled compared to the corresponding period. This clearly demonstrates the growing attraction of our international airports as lifestyle destinations."
"I am also extremely pleased that our ITUF Campaign recently won the gold medal for the Best of Country (Malaysia) Trade Campaign category atthe Promotion Marketing Awards of Asia (PMAA) /Dragons of Asia 2013. The Award is presented to the campaign that best markets a product or service within any retail or trade channel.
"Our win is an endorsement of our Indulge Till You Fly Campaign's outstanding marketing approach as the PMAA provides a unique platform to the marketers to pitch their campaigns against the best in Asia. I am proud that we emerged as the champion amongst champions in this particular category," added Puan Faizah.
Winning for the 21 travelers do not end with the monthly indulgers. They are now in the running for the Grand Prize - a RM1million shopping spree and the shopping experience of a lifetime to Hong Kong, Tokyo, New York, London, Paris, Dubai and, of course, Kuala Lumpur!
The grand prize winner, and a partner, will fly business class to all the seven cities where they will stay at top-class hotels and be taken shopping at the respective cities' premier malls.
