Visa Requirement
There are two categories of visitors which require visa to enter Malaysia.
a) The holders of:
i. Certificate of Identity
ii. Titre De Voyage
iii. Travel Document
b) The passport holder of the following countries:
i) ASIA / CENTRAL
Afghanistan
Bangladesh
Bhutan
India (except Diplomatic and Service Passport)
Myanmar (except Diplomatic and Service Passport)
People's Republic of China
Nepal
Pakistan
Republic of China (Taiwan)
Sri Lanka
ii) AFRICAN NATIONS
Angola Eritrea
Burkina Faso Ethiopia
Burundi Guinea Bissau
Cameroon Ghana
Central African Republic Liberia
Congo Republic Mali
Congo Democratic Republic Mozambique
Cote D'Ivoire Niger
Djibouti Nigeria

Note:
Visa exception is given to nationals of African nations mentioned above who enter Malaysia as invitees or under sponsor by the Malaysian government; according to the period of invitation mentioned, provided proof is shown upon entry to this country.
Nationals of the following countries DO NOT REQUIRE VISA FOR SOCIAL / BUSINESS VISIT not exceeding the length of stay as stated. this Facility is given for the purpose of social and business visits only. For other purposes of visit and longer stay, a visa is required.
