MALAYSIA AIRPORTS MANAGING DIRECTOR RECOGNISED FOR LEADERSHIP EXCELLENCE IN AIRPORT MANAGEMENT DURING 7TH MIDDLE EAST BUSINESS LEADERSHIP AWARDS

LONDON – Datuk Badlisham Ghazali, Managing Director of Malaysia Airports was recognised for Leadership Excellence in Airport Management during the recent 7th Middle East Business Leadership Awards (MEBLA) in London last Saturday for his leadership and drive in ensuring the sustainable growth of Malaysia Airports’ business through the implementation of initiatives such as establishing KL International Airport as a preferred ASEAN hub, enhancing total airport experience, developing KLIA Aeropolis and strengthening international presence.
Upon receiving the award, Badlisham had said, “This award is actually a recognition for the collective effort from all our more than 10,000 employees who strive to make our company’s mission and vision a reality every single day.
Held at Intercontinental London Park Lane, the grand event was graced by The Right Honourable Stephen Timms, Member of UK Parliament, H.E. Dato’ Ahmad Rasidi Hazizi, High Commissioner of Malaysia to United Kingdom & Northern Ireland, H.E. Sulaiman Almazroui, Ambassador of UAE Embassy London, H.E. Khaled Al-Duwaisan, Ambassador of Kuwait Embassy London, H.E. Abdulrahim Hasan Mohamed Naqi, Secretary General, Federation of Chambers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (FGCCC), H.E. Badria Al Mulla, President of International Emirates Business Group (IEBG) and Mr Shahul Hameed Dawood, Group CEO, The Leaders International Magazine.
Some 200 invited guests attended the awards gala dinner from Malaysia, Libya, UAE, Kuwait, United Kingdom, Bahrain, Jordan, India and many other countries, included heads of numerous Chambers of Commerce and Industries as well as prominent industry captains from the Middle East, Europe & Asia regions. Also present were members of the diplomatic corporation, and leading government officials.
MEBLA was organised by American Leadership Development Association (ALDA) and The Leaders International Magazine with the full endorsement from The Federation of GCC Chambers, to recognise and honour not only prominent figures as exceptional leaders but also major organisations as drivers and contributors of their industries.
