Flood Victims In Kota Bharu Receive Aid From Malaysia Airports

Kota Bharu, 14 Febuary 2008 - Malaysia Airports continues to assist flood victims in the East Coast by contributing food supplies worth RM7,500.00 to flood
victims in Kg. Muara Pantai Pak Amat, Kota Bharu.
150 families in the village received the food supplies which were presented by Kamaruzzaman Razali, Kota Bharu's airport manager who represented Malaysia
Airports for the ceremony.
Norliza Kamaruddin, General Manager of Corporate Communications Malaysia Airports said: "This aid is a token of our empathy and we hope that this
contribution will ease their sufferings. Nothing could possibly compensate for their loss of property; nevertheless, we are helping them to rebuild their
lives in whatever way we can."
She added: "This is also part of our corporate social responsibility programme to help the needy as what we have done previously when flood struck Johor
last year. Earlier this month, we have also help flood victims in Kuantan with similar contributions."
