About Tawau Airport
Officially opened in December 2001, Tawau Airport is the second largest airport in Sabah. It is situated 31km from Tawau and serves the city as well as surrounding areas. The new terminal was built to cater to the growing number of tourists headed to marine and natural parks located near Tawau.
