A wholly owned subsidiary of Malaysia Airports, the Malaysia International Aerospace Centre Sdn. Bhd. (MIAC) was launched to further develop Malaysia's aerospace industry.
Located at the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, MIAC has six core activities. They are: maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO); helicopter centre; general aviation centre; aerospace training centre; aerospace technology centre; and commercial support.
Each of these activities are housed in their own facilities in the MIAC development and are key towards transforming Malaysia into a global aerospace nation by 2015.
