Kuala Lumpur, 19 March 2012 – In conjunction with the Malaysian Grand Prix, travellers and the public will get to experience the heat of the popular race from now until 25th March 2012 at KLIA. Exciting activities have been put together to provide an unforgettable shopping and dining experience.

Customers who spend a minimum of RM50 up to a maximum of 3 accumulated receipts will be eligible to participate in any of the activities offered. Amongst the activities is the F1 Troupe Invasion where F1 girls will patron around KLIA and engage customers to take part in ‘Spot the Difference’ game. For a more action thrilled activity, travellers and the public can participate in the Racing Simulator available at the Stage Area, Level 5, Main Terminal Building and Centre Hub Area, Satellite Building.

The lucky customers who managed to spot all the differences and win the race within the stipulated given time will stand a chance to walk with cash shopping vouchers worth up to RM100 that can be redeemed with purchases of RM30 and above at any KLIA retail and F&B outlets.

Fukuya has opened its outlet in KLIA, offering an array of authentic Japanese cuisine. One must not leave without trying their best selling Double Boiled Salmon Belly Soup and Hokkaido Scallop Butter sautéed with Teriyaki duck liver. Located at the Satellite Building, the relaxing and soothing atmosphere of the restaurant is certainly a welcoming treat for any traveller.

Additionally, international travellers would be pleased to know that there are thematic lounges available at the Satellite Building namely the News Lounge, Movie Lounge and Sports Lounge which are located at Level 1 of the South Zone, East Zone and North Zone respectively. Comfortable and inviting, the lounges are the perfect place to unwind and catch up with the latest happenings - be it your not to be missed football matches or your long-time favourite movies. Furnished with comfortable sofas and 42 inch LED screens, the lounges will definitely be no disappointment. For those who are in need to stay virtually connected, the internet kiosk section provides free Wifi services and 4 Samsung Galaxy Tabs at each lounge for travellers’ convenience.
