SEPANG – Malaysia Airports would like to inform the public and passengers travelling to KL International Airport (KLIA) that there will be a traffic deviation on both sides of KLIA highway at KM11. The deviation will be done in phases to facilitate construction works of ‘portal frame’ and ‘launching beam’ for klia2 project.

The deviation phases are as follows:-
1st Phase:
Date    :     3 to 4 November 2011
Time    :     2300hrs – 0600hrs (11.00 PM till 6.00 AM)

2nd Phase:
Date    :     19 to 24 November 2011
Time    :     2300hrs – 0600hrs (11.00 PM till 6.00 AM)

The deviation is minor, nevertheless Malaysia Airports has planned the time period of the deviation during non-peak hours for flights at KLIA, to minimise the impact of the traffic deviation. However, due to the recent heavy downpours, vehicles are advised to slow down when approaching the affected areas.

Passengers who will be travelling on these dates are advised to exercise precaution and adhere to traffic regulations when using the said area during the particular time. Alternative transportation to reach KLIA is available by ERL.

Malaysia Airports would also like to advise all passengers to continue observing proper time management to ensure timely arrival to the airport.
