About Lawas STOLport
Lawas STOLport serves the rural area of Lawas in, Sarawak. It handles weekly flights to Bekalalan and Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The STOLport serves Malaysia Airlines' MASwings.
There are currently plans underway to relocate the airport. The proposed location will open the STOLport to people along the Sabah-Sarawak border.
SIBU AIRPORT RESUMES NORMAL OPERATIONS

We are pleased to inform that runway recovery works at Sibu Airport is now complete and the airport had resumed normal operations at 0000 hours, 10 April 2017, with the first flight commencing operations 0928 hours this morning.
