About Bintulu Airport
Opened in 2002, Bintulu Airport now serves the town of Bintulu as well as the state of Sarawak. Located 5.5km from Bintulu town, the airport has a single runway (2,745km) and is able to handle planes as large as the Boeing 747. It serves Malaysia Airlines, MASwings and Air Asia.
