* Although it was confirmed that KUL had followed the standard fieldwork procedures, its scores could not be replicated during the ASQ audit. ACI and Malaysia Airports could not establish an explanation for this and arrive at the actual results. As such, both parties agreed that it was best that KUL’s results for 2008 be excluded from the annual ranking as it would be too late to attempt to reconcile the results.
