More Than 100 Golfers Took Part in Malaysia Airports Golf Challenge

Kuala Lumpur, 18 November 2006 - Malaysia Airports today organised the second annual Malaysia Airports Golf Challenge, held at the Glenmarie Golf & Country Club where more than 100 participants took part.
Participants comprising business partners, airlines, media agencies, clients, private, government agencies and senior officials from Malaysia Airports, including Y. Bhg. Tan Sri Datuk Dr. Aris Othman, Chairman of Malaysia Airports and Y. Bhg. Dato Seri Bashir Ahmad, Managing Director of Malaysia Airports, pitted their golfing skills in this challenge. The purpose of this golf competition is to further enhance relationship and networking through sports activities with these parties.
This is the second time that Malaysia Airports is organising this golf invitational tournament which offers attractive prizes including a Nissan X-Trail for a Hole-in-One. The overall champion, Mr. Ravi Chandar, Managing Director of New Sign Transportation, received a challenge trophy as well as attractive prizes. Y. Bhg. Tan Sri Datuk Dr. Aris Othman and Y. Bhg. Dato Seri Bashir Ahmad gave away the prizes.
Dato Seri Bashir Ahmad said, "Malaysia Airports is very pleased with the encouraging response for our annual golf tournament. This golf tournament provides all the participants the opportunity not only to enjoy the game, but also the chance to further expand their networking and contacts."
