Malaysia Airports' Faizal Mansor Won Best CFO In Second Annual MIRA Awards

Sepang, 28 June 2012 - Malaysia Airports' Chief Financial Officer, Faizal Mansor received the prestigious Best CFO for Investor Relations (Mid Cap
category) in the Second Annual MIRA Malaysia Investor Relations Awards Ceremony held on 6 June 2012.
On receiving the award, Faizal Mansor said, "The team at MAHB, starting from the Board and the top leadership down to all levels has contributed to our aspiration of being a World Class Airport Business. Further to the successful completion of our corporate and financial restructuring in 2009, MAHB now is financially stronger, a AAA-rated company whilst upholding the highest level of business integrity and corporate governance. All we've done is to effectively communicate these achievements to the wider public, the investment community in particular. We also value the feedback we receive from all stakeholders, which is key to an Investor Relations (IR) best practice."
Malaysia Airports' Corporate Finance & Business Advisory Senior Manager, Vinie Chong Pui Ling won 4th place for the Best IR professional (Mid-Cap category), further indicated Malaysia Airports' commitment and professionalism in investor relations.
Malaysia Airports was also nominated in four other categories - Best Company for Investor Relations, Main Board-Mid Cap (6th place), Best IR Website Main Board-Mid Cap (3rd place), Most Improved Service from IR Team (7th place) and Quality One-on-One Meetings (7th place).
Organised by the Malaysian Investor Relations Association (MIRA), the event gave recognition to individuals and companies that have successfully embraced best IR practices. The survey was undertaken from October 17, 2011 until December 16, 2011 by Thomson Reuters Extel, working in partnership with MIRA.
A total of 20 awards under ten main categories were presented and the companies were polled under large, mid and small-cap based on company size or market capitalisation, referenced against the basket of companies under the FTSE Bursa Index series.
Winners were chosen based on surveys extended to over 800 fund management and equity research professionals globally.
