About Miri Airport
Miri Airport is the third busiest airport in Malaysia, after KL International Airport and Kota Kinabalu International Airport. Located close to the border of Brunei Darussalam, it serves the city of Miri and the northern region of Sarawak.
In 2011, it was announced the Miri Airport will be expanded to cater for the growing number of passengers. The new terminal has a capacity of 2 million passengers per year.
