At KLIA, we have just what you need to keep your baggage protected.
Operated by Suria Manis Sdn. Bhd., our baggage wrapping service ensures your baggage will stay safe from the wear and tear of travel. Baggage wrapping is available in the Departure Hall of the Main Terminal Building.
You can also get a disposable strap around your baggage, keeping it secure. Baggage strapping is operated by Super Strap Enterprise and is available at the Departure Hall of the Main Terminal Building.
For any additional baggage you wish to check in over your free allowance, a fee will apply, depending on your final destination. If you do have excess baggage, you will need to allow for extra time before check-in to pay the excess fee.
There are two excess baggage stations in the Departure Hall of the Main Terminal Building. One is operated by Malaysia Airlines, the other by ABDA Airfrieght Sdn. Bhd. Both counters are open 24/7.
For more details on excess baggage and its rates, please visit www.abda-excessbaggage.com or call +603 8776 5059.
If you happen to lose something at the airport, you should first contact the airline you were travelling with. We strongly recommend that you take travel insurance to cover any losses that might occur in your travels.
For items lost at an Airport Terminal, you can go to the Lost and Found Centre, located in the Main Terminal Building. The Centre stores items that are found in the airport.
If you find an item, please hand it over to the personnel at the Centre. Any item will be recorded and stored until it is collected by its owner, or for 30 days before it is disposed.
Alternatively, you can fill out the online customer feedback form.
If you lose items in an aircraft or your check-in baggage goes missing, you will need to contact the ground handler of the airline as listed in the table.
