KLIA Distributes More Than 1000 Packs of Kurma for Passengers

Sepang, 18 September 2007 - Malaysia Airports celebrated the holy month of Ramadhan today by distributing more than 1000 packets of kurma or dates to
passengers at KL International Airport (KLIA).
Malaysia Airports collaborated with Valiram Group for this project, in the efforts to enhance its customer relationship management.
Dato' Azmi Murad, Senior General Manager Operations Malaysia Airports led the distribution of dates, along with representatives of Valiram Group and KLIA management.
Dato' Azmi Murad said: "The objective of this activity is to demonstrate our care to the passengers, especially Muslims in observing the Ramadhan month; as well as to foster a better relationship with our concessionaires.
He added: "Malaysia Airports is delighted to welcome the holy month of Ramadhan, and we would like to take this opportunity to share the Ramadhan spirit with passengers.
The kurma packets were distributed at the Domestic Area (Linked Bridge area) to all passengers. After the event, media members joined Malaysia Airports Majlis Berbuka Puasa at the Masjid KLIA.
