SEPANG- The year-long Eraman Shopping Extravaganza Buy & Win Contest ended on a high note today with the grand-prize winner taking home a brand new BMW 318i and fifty four (54) other lucky winners walking away with prizes worth over RM330,000 at an exclusive prize giving ceremony held at KL International Airport.
It was Ms Yap Teng Teng, 36 years old from Setapak, Kuala Lumpur, who won the grand prize of a brand new BMW 318i. She was among the over 400,000 potential winners who participated in the final cycle of the Eraman Shopping Extravaganza – Buy & Win Contest held from April until May 2018. Ms Yap also took home a Bally Bag and Petron Fuel Vouchers worth RM3,600, the rewards for her total purchase of RM350.20.
Upon finding out about her windfall, Miss Yap said, “I was very shocked and did not trust the caller at first. I really thought it was a scam. It took me a while to calm down and started to believe this amazing news. I travelled to Koh Sa Mui Thailand in May and I bought chocolates from the Eraman Duty Free Emporium at KLIA upon arrival. I remembered a girl at the cashier counter informing me that I was entitled to join the contest and so, I did. I still can’t believe that I won the grand prize. It is such a wonderful surprise and never in my wildest dreams could I ever imagine that my purchase of RM350.20 would lead to this wonderful reward. Now I am walking away with a luxurious car, a Bally bag and a year’s worth of fuel by Petron. Thank you Eraman!”
The Eraman Shopping Extravaganza - Buy & Win Contest first launched in June 2017, comprised three phases and offered prizes worth more than RM1 million. It proved overwhelmingly popular garnering more than 400,000 entries with participants mainly from Malaysia, India, Indonesia and China.

Airport shopping is an integral part of the journey for travellers – contributing to a positive airport experience for the passengers. We will continue to foster close partnership with our brand principals as part of our promotional efforts to ensure that we carry the latest products and brands for passengers passing through our airports. We are pleased to also announce that by quarter three this year, renowned brands such as La Mer, Tom Ford, Jo Malone and M.A.C will be joining the Eraman family at Kota Kinabalu International Airport. We will also be increasing our Perfumes & Cosmetics Kiosks with Gucci, M.A.C and Jo Malone which will be available at Eraman Duty Free Emporium located at the Contact Pier KLIA soon.”

For the Eraman Shopping Extravaganza Buy & Win Contest, fifty four (54) other lucky winners were also announced and they will be taking home the following prizes:
• The 1st prize winner received Eraman Shopping Vouchers worth RM25,000, a Bally bag and Petron Fuel Vouchers worth RM3,000.
• The 2nd prize winner received Eraman Shopping Vouchers worth RM15,000, a Bally bag and Petron Fuel Vouchers worth RM2,400.
• The 3rd prize winner received a 4 Day 3 Night stay for an ASEAN holiday package to Bali for two inclusive of flight and hotel stay and Petron Fuel Vouchers worth RM1,800.
• The Diageo Johnnie Walker winner received a 3 Day 2 Night stay for two inclusive of flight and hotel to experience the Johnnie Walker House in Asia.
• Fifty (50) consolation winners received Petron Fuel Vouchers worth RM450 each.
