About Melaka Airport
Built in 1952, Melaka Airport serves the city and the state of Malacca, as well as northern Johor. Formerly known as Batu Berendam Airport, the airport is located 10km from the historic town of Malacca and occupies 141 acres (0.57 km2) of land.
In May 2009, a new terminal, which can accommodate up to 1.5 million passengers per year, was opened to cater to the increase in business and leisure travellers to Malacca.
The airport is also used as the base of the Malaysian Flying Academy (MFA), which has been operating out of the airport since 1987.

SEPANG - The Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen International Airport (ISGIA) recorded a total of 544 air traffic movements and 76,367 passenger traffic movements on 24 December 2015.
