About Miri Airport
Miri Airport is the second busiest airport in Sarawak. Located close to the border of Brunei Darussalam, it serves the city of Miri and the northern region of Sarawak.
It is also a hub for domestic flights and serves Malaysia Airlines and Air Asia.
In 2011, it was announced the Miri Airport will be expanded to cater for the growing number of passengers. The new terminal has a capacity of 2 million passengers per year.
