No Smoking Policy

Bookmark and Share

Smoking is strongly discouraged at Malaysia Airports and is strictly forbidden in any of its offices, buildings, workshops or worksites, with the sole exception of the specifically designated smoking areas.

Our objective: A Smoking Free Working Environment

Local legislation, rights and health of non-smokers shall be taken into consideration. Designated smoking areas must be kept clean and tidy.

All designated smoking areas must be provided with appropriate equipment e.g. ash tray and disposal bins. These areas are displayed with appropriate signage to ensure that all smoking materials are properly extinguished and disposed off in accordance with good and safe housekeeping practices.

The following action is considered serious policy violations:

  • Smoking in the office or at any non-designated area.
Any personnel who fail to comply with these requirements are liable to face disciplinary action in accordance with the appropriate Human Resource procedures.
