Popularly known as the Alor Setar Airport, the Sultan Abdul Halim Airport serves Kedah and neighbouring states.
With its newest terminal opening in 2006 and its runway extended to 2,745m, the Sultan Abdul Halim Airport can handle up to 800,000 passengers annually and has the capacity to meet Airbus 330 operations' needs.
